Pastor Ed Grove & Sister Mollie Grove

Pastor Ed sensed a call to ministry at a young age. As with many callings, the journey from calling to fulfillment was not a straight line. After years of running from both his calling and from God, much like the prodigal son, he “came to himself” and rediscovered the Forgiving Father—faithfully watching and waiting for his return. God, in His grace, restored Ed’s life and renewed the call that had been placed on him long ago.

Pastor Ed began attending a church in Pittsburgh, where he served as a small group leader and co-leader of the men’s ministry. In 2013, he relocated from Pennsylvania to Arizona and joined Bread of Life as a member. Over the years, he served in a variety of roles, including children’s ministry and men’s ministry leadership.

In 2023, Pastor Ed assumed the role of Associate Pastor at Bread of Life. Following the retirement of his father, Pastor Wilbert Grove, he was installed as Lead Pastor in 2026.

Pastor Ed is deeply committed to helping people discover their God-given purpose—growing to become more like Christ, understanding the difference between the temporary and the eternal, and living out a life marked by loving God and loving people.

Pastor Emeritus Wilbert L. Grove & Sister Linda Grove

Pastor Wilbert Grove, a Pennsylvania native, began his journey in ministry in 1972. During his years in Pennsylvania, he faithfully served in multiple churches, including one he personally planted. In 2001, the Lord directed him to Marana, Arizona, where he founded Bread of Life in 2002. He served with unwavering dedication as Lead Pastor until January 2026.

Under Pastor Grove’s leadership, a new church building was joyfully constructed and dedicated in 2016—completed entirely debt-free. Later, the need arose for an upgraded Ministry Center. Once again, Pastor Grove led with wisdom and faith, overseeing the purchase and installation of a manufactured building. This project, too, was accomplished without incurring any debt! The building will be ready for use later this year and will be proudly dedicated as The Reverend Wilbert L. Grove Ministry Center.

For more than five decades, Pastor Grove has remained steadfastly committed to preaching and teaching the Word of God, strengthening believers and sharing the Gospel with those yet to believe. After 54 years of faithful service, marked by always seeking to remain in the center of God’s will, he retired from full-time ministry in January 2026. Today, he continues to be an active and cherished part of the Bread of Life family, serving with honor as Pastor Emeritus.
